I have to say I am very disappointed to see Mercenary Frigates being "outed" as nothing much more than a Foresaken Empire alt war corp. I always kind liked the Merc Frigate approach and found them pretty amusing. But it is a sad spectacle to see them running back to the Foresaken Empire with their cap in hand and begging for some more alts and cruiser and battleships to help them fight.
Remember guys ... Jericho came out and hit you hard with nothing but frigates until you started using Blackbirds in ever increasing numbers.
Its all very well for you to whinge about having to up the ship class category because of enemies in theatre, but you guys kinda started it.
But sadly,
I am having to reassess Merc Frigates in the light of this post as ...
"just another crappy alt war corp"
Sad. Get a life Foresaken Empire!

I think its mainly due to the large quantity of battleships in Eve ...... as the numbers increased then the ability to have a "viable" frigate only corp became almost impossible ....
You still manage to find the odd one (hence MF videos)
Catch a clue Mongo ... MF brought war, we matched them with Frigates, they upped the ante to cruisers and began the arms race. Now they are running to the Foresaken Empire for "alts" and "battleships".
It doesn't look good whichever way you spin it.
I am sad that the MF are associated with FE though. They did appear to have a sense of humour once.

Problem is you are in permanent NAP and murky arrangements with FE, Eve's worse smack-talking, and laughably incompetant corp. I didn't say you brought Battleships against us, I said you upped the ante to blackbirds and then went running to FE for more alts and Battleships (as appears to be the case in Omni's post.)
Let me clue you in. Last night FE showed themselves to be the lowest of the low by their tactics and play style. For you to be associated with that stink makes you stink.
Its as simple as that.

Well here is the thing, while I type this I am being hunted in Nonni Starsystem by a mixed fleet of Mercenary Frigates and Foresaken Empire Ships.
I engaged a lone MF frigate (vigil) at the Nonni/New Caldari stargate, webbed my prey and just failed to cruise missile his ass, then, to my absolute (lack) of surprise. In game a mixed group of additional MF's and heavier FE ships. I ran! (and am still running).
It appears that Mercenary Frigate have come out of the closet as an Foresaken Empire war ally and have joined the fighting in the role of an alt-war-corp.
As I said before this is all very sad, but the facts of the matter are now beyond reasonable doubt.

With respect s0cks, don't come the high morale ground with me. You have got nothing but quality frigate and cruiser action from Jericho Fraction and I have certainly done my share and I have enjoyed it quite a lot. What does suck, is that you have an unbreakable NAP with FE and are literally part-owned by Mongo Peck!! This does mean that you are not as independent as you liked to claim in your recruiting, and anyone joining MF should take that into account.
I personally think it is a great shame, because you have some game fighters and talented chaps, and to see you shackled in bondage to the Foresaken Empire is a disappointmnent.
Its as simple as that s0cks. Never once have you heard me moan or whinge about this war and never once have you had the faintest suggestion that we would not fight it with all due fury.
But it does disappoint me to see you posting requests for aid on the Foresaken Empire boards and flying in gangs with them.
You personally have complained about big battleship gank brigades taking the fun out of the game and yet you are allied and actively aiding them in FE?
I think you should go truly independent and sever ties with the FE. That way I could rediscover some political respect for you.

I hate to break it to you but Mongo Peck is almost totally despised by a good majority of the people who know his name. Hence for you to be in Mongo's pocket is for you to share his taint. Yesterday I offered to buy off your obligation and help free Mercenary Frigates of the FE bondage. You guys refused and thus much be considered a Subsidary not actual mercenaries at all.
